Leah & Shane

We meet again, wonderful blog readers!

I recently photographed Leah & Shane. This soon-to-be wedded couple will be getting married in August. I am also doing Leah's bridals and their wedding at the gorgeous Farmhouse in Montgomery!

They have one of the most romantic proposals ever! A little background. Leah is a dancer. Shane made sure to incorporate that into the proposal. Read this love story!

"It was my birthday weekend. He took me to dinner in downtown Houston with two of our best friends. We walked around Discovery Green, which is where he got down on one knee and popped the question. I laughed out of disbelief. He then surprised me with tickets to see Dirty Dancing: the broadway musical (one of our favorite movies). After the show, we went to get ice cream which is where he had also flown my parents in to surprise me. It was the perfect night!!"

Y'all, does it get much better than that!!

Not only are Leah and Shane getting married at The Farmhouse in Montgomery, they are having Rudy's BBQ cater it and they can't wait for DJ JJ Essen to turn the music up so they can dance the night away.

Future wedding details aside, let's get to the present: their engagement session! These two are real naturals in front of the camera. Their good looks, fabulous outfit choices, a sublime location and their genuine love for each other made this photo shoot one to remember! I don't think I have ever laughed so hard during a session. Their fun personalities made for amazing images that show their true love for one another.

Hi y'all!

Let's all give it up for one of the cutest couples ever: Seth & Justyna!

Justyna told me all about how Seth and her met. They were both working at the same place. First they became friends and then they fell in love.

She also filled me in on the proposal. Seth took Justyna and her son (awe!!!) to the San Antonio Riverwalk. He got down on one knee to pop the question on, of all places, Marriage Island. Of course, she said Y-E-S!

Their wedding date is set for early February. They will be getting married at the beautiful Big Sky Barn, with the reception to follow.  They are really excited about the wedding cake.  It will be a 3 tier, rustic oak tree theme, with humming birds coming off the sides. They're not just excited about the details, though. They're also excited to spend the rest of their lives together. It's so clear that this couple is head-over-heels for each other!

I bet you can feel the love through these photos. I know I can!

At a loss for words.....

If you are a parent, then you know that one of the greatest moments ever is welcoming your baby into the world. The greatest honor ever was given to me when I was asked to photograph the birth of Baby "J". Babies are the greatest blessings and being able to capture the birth of one....no words can describe it. You can feel God filling up the entire room with His presence.

As a mom, I know the joys of seeing your baby for the first time. Watching sibling(s) see the newest addition. Dad holding newborn baby in his arms.  Being able to join others in their journey of having their little bundle of joy means I am able to capture moments that mom or dad may forget. The raw emotion. The pure joy. Tears flowing because they can no longer be contained.

This little boy was welcomed into the world in late December. He has the most amazing big sister. And I just know that he is going to grow up to do great things.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart

Soon-to-Be Mr. & Mrs. Rogers

Hello lovely blog readers! First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.

I am going to start the new year off with a wonderful couple! I recently photographed C and J at a lovely historical park. This soon-to-be wedded couple will be getting married in late February. I am ecstatic to be photographing their wedding also!

These two met through their church. They volunteer together, not only with their church's youth group, but also at the cafe inside the church. In fact, it was at the cafe that C proposed to J. It was a very intimate and special moment between the two of them and if you knew them, you would know it suited them to a "t".

Their wedding ceremony will be held at their home church. And the reception is going to be at the gorgeous Hodge Podge Lodge in downtown Montgomery. I just know it is going to be absolutely breathtaking!

Future wedding details aside, let's get back to the present: C & J's engagement session! These two were naturals in front of the camera. Their good looks, fabulous outfit choices, a sublime location, and their genuine love for each other made this photo shoot a breeze!

Best of luck to the happy couple! Keep an eye out for their wedding blog!
